Wind Cave always grouped together with Clearwater cave in one showcave tour package as they are nearby to each other and can be reached by same jetty. Visitors are 1st cruised up the Melinau river in longboat followed by a long ramp and a few stairs to Cave of the Winds.
Windy cave with unique stalagmites, stalactites and limestone shawls. Small cave where it only took about 45min for the tour.

The Pinnacle climb is a high risk and extreme activity. The journey started with 10km boat ride on Melinau River followed by 9km walking trail to Camp 5 which is a basic forest shelter for overnight. The steep gradient is 2.4km ascending to Pinnacle and it was challenging. Camp 5 is completed with equipped kitchen that provides gas and utensils for cooking, drinking water also refillable here. Must visit place for natural lover. No cell phone reception is available.

1 of the world’s largest cave passages, home to 3mil bats. About 3km from Mulu National Park HQ, took us 1 hr flat walk on raised plank walks to the Bat observatory. Wonderful limestone shawls, stalagmites and stalactites and ancient riverbed. Once you reach the Garden of Eden which is 800m inside Deer Cave, you can enjoy the unique showerhead formations of Adam and Eve’s showers spouting columns of water 30m to the riverbed.Bat exodus which could start any time from 5PM to 6:30PM.

There are not many coffee and pastry place for afternoon tea at Kuala Terengganu. With the limited choices left, a short stop at Shell Petrol Station at Jalan Balik Bukit will help you to grab a cup of coffee or chocolate drink with the price tag of RM9 plus. The pastries are fresh and warm too. The customer service is very good as they will send the coffee that you order to your car while you pump car petrol.

One of the famous ice-cream parlour serving great ice cream that is inspired by local Malaysian taste buds, eating experiences and current trends. Using local ingredients like durian from Raub, tea leaves from Cameron Highlands, and gula Melaka from Melaka, these are local authentic taste. Clean outlet with nice colour combination of interior setting. Good location for stop by for nice dessert. Highly recommended flavour, durian and cempedak.

Easy to spot location at 1st floor along the way to the connecting bridge from The Curve to Ikano Shopping Mall. Subway serves all kind of sandwiches you ever think of. It has multiple choices of fillings, veggies and sauces that can be added according to your choice. This particular subway serves pretty much the same menus and offers. Open space for diners to sit on. Staff are friendly and fast serving. Veggies and cold cuts are fresh.

This restaurant has a food truck outside the premise. It sells dishes and Malay kuih in the truck. It is famous for its fried chicken and squid. The squid is expensive. It is very crowded during dinner time and it is advisable to go early to avoid disappointment. The restaurant also serves fruit juice and plain water is given free for customers. A plate of steamed rice with fried chicken, half salted egg and vegetable costs RM9.
