The cafe is cozy, comfortable and home like, make one recall of grandma's home. This cafe was turning from an old school hotel and good to see the owner attach most of original interior included colorful glass window and and wall paint, providing the real 50s-60s vintage atmosphere. Like the name, menu is a list of home recipe. Don't be surprised when your ordering assam laksa is served with a pack of Mamee snack, this was our childhood favor by slurping laksa soup with crispy Mamee snack.

This stall is popular for its fried noodle and fried flat noodle or kuew tiow. The fried noodle is not oily and the sambal is very delicious to eat with the noodle. It also sells other food like fried rice and Cantonese noodle but the taste is only average.
