Melawati Mall

Local community mall developed by Sime Darby Property Group. A very well planned neighbourhood mall with good mixture of food, retail and entertainment outlets.. Parking space is ample and well maintained. There is a cinema there which is great too, and a few cafes to sit, relax and enjoy the day. The design is quite beautiful, spacious and comfortable. If you are looking for entertainment, cinema is available here too. Overall, suitable for family hang out and groceries shopping.

Borneo Asian Food by Sugar Bun @ Melawati Mall

Popular Sarawak based fast food franchise; the 'broasted' chicken is different from the typical Colonel fried chicken. The fried chicken is less oily. They even serve other Sarawakian dishes such as laksa. Their fish fillet also not too bad. Their savoury rice is very fragrant with mixture of spices and raisins, together with cucumber pickles which enhance the appetite.

The Fish Bowl @ Plaza Arkadia

Enjoyable healthy fast food at quite a reasonable price. Clean environment and friendly staff. There's also a kids section with an indoor playground, which can get quite noisy. Other than that, great place to dine in or take away (you pay extra for a take away box). Selections of ingredients freshly displayed at their counter for customers to choose their preferred toppings or simply order their hot selling items at their menu. Healthy meals.

Hooi Ji Wan Ton Noodles 开记云吞面 @ Bentong

Another famous claimed hyped wanton noodles. Just a decent moderately wonton noodles which nothing to shout about. The wait of at least 30-45 minutes for the serve is a bit too much, not to mentioned the waiting time of getting seats especially during the weekends. Overall, the handmade noodles which is tangy and springy, the taste of soya sauce is not too bad. The wonton dumpling were just moderately filled up with small shrimp and pork.

Bentong Tau Fu Sdn Bhd

Claimed to be famous with their soft tau fu fah. The texture of the tau fu fa is soft and smooth. Glaze on top with sugar syrup or brown sugar syrup, the taste is just satisfying. The shop also sell fried tau fu pok. Free tasting also provided with their famous bentong soya sauce. The taste of the tau fu pok is just moderately ok. Friendly staff serving the customers.

Pasar Tau Fu Pok 文冬巴刹30号豆腐卜@ Bentong

This shop is located in the middle of new village residential housing area It was recommended by the local resident when asking for direction to buy toufu pok. It was not easy to locate the spot for first timer. The tau fu pok were freshly made and fried everyday. The boss was very friendly and its free tasting for visitors. Inner toufu were soft and fresh and the outer layer of crunchiness were so good.

Kim Lian Kee 金莲记 @ Sunway Velocity

One of the famous charcoal fried hokkien mee in town. The skills and the taste of the traditional fried hokkien mee are well preserved. Fresh ingredients like prawns, squid, slice pork are being use to fried with the yellow silky thick noodles. Right amount light soy and dark soya sauce makes the entire noodle tasty, not to mention the pork lard being used. Friendly staff and clean spacious eatery place.

ChubbeeCloud @ Damansara Uptown

To describe this café, one word ‘pretty’. Everything serve are pretty and cute. The Magical Mericorn Milkshake (RM16) This milkshake brings back good memories from when we were children—a bowl of fruit loops with some creamy milk. A vanilla flavoured milkshake that is topped with a carefully handcrafted Unicorn marshmallow, chocolate mermaid tail, and sprinkles of rainbow pebbles which is that good!

Yatra @ Plaza Ativo

Looking for South Indian fare can make a pilgrimage to Yatra, where this looks like a modern café specialise in Chennai-style cooking. All ingredients and spices are fresh and added to their dishes to enchance the flavour of the dish. Drinks are equally good, their mango lassi. Great setting and choice of music, mini library with interesting books and most of all pleasant and friendly staffs.

Taipei Walker Café @ Plaza Arkadia

Bringing closely to the famous street foods and delicacies from Taiwan. This place serve many of the famous street foods in Taiwan, from snacks small bites, famous beverages, to main meals. Their oysters mee-sua was good, thick starchy sauce with lots of egg battered and big fresh oysters. The friend yam cake was good too, outer crispy and inner soft yam paste. Comfortable restaurant to dine in with friends or with family.
