A veggie lover's must-go place. This place is amazing. Real good food. The price is on par for the food prepared. Recommend ginger noodle soup, original, with a large serving of fried egg. Second choice will be the asam laksa. Parking here is pretty challenging especially during rush hour. Most of food selection from noodle to rice is good here. Fruit tea is great too.
Famous with their grilled fish choices of garoupa, pak sou gong, and patin served in Sichuan style. Fresh fish covered with Sichuan sauce as base and sides dishes to be ordered separately. The spicyness level can be adjusted based on the level of take. Additional spicy with their special made sauce can be added accordingly. Nice huge spacious restaurant and staff are helpful and friendly.
Located at the top floor of the mall which is quite secluded despite of not so may merchant tenants surrounding at the floor. However, the restaurant is very comfortable with nice interior, ambient and spacious. They have a VIP room which is perfect for private functions. Usually there will be lunch set offered during lunch time for office patrons. Portion is quite generous for the price charged. Service are good and staffs are friendly.
Just discovered this new place. The Yogurt drink here is less sweetened than usual soda / bubble tea, and really refreshing. They used really fresh ingredient and are generous with the amount they put in. The staff are friendly and able to make good recommendations of their choices. The place is bright and clean plus the interior pinky furnishing give an overall comfortness. Very healthy drink instead.
Business run by a family which they claimed all their chicken, char siew and siew yoke (roast pork) are all prepared in the restaurant itself in order to contain its freshness and the taste. Their chicken prawn hor fun is tasty. The rice set is also tasty with the nicely cooked fragrance rice. Side dishes such as bean sprouts, fish ball, lettuce with oyster sauce and more to choose from. Usually very crowded during lunch time serving patrons working there.
Serving Thai dishes generally able to find them in Thailand street foods. Portion is not too generous for the price paid. Tried their tom yum clear noodles, taste not too bad, not too spicy, level of sourness just nice but the clear noodles are just slight small portion. The thai fried rice a bit too soft, mediorcre taste. Place is spacious and comfortable to dine in.
Restaurant is located in a mall that yet to open. Food is good. Had CNY gathering dinner there and opted their set meal. Highly recommended to try the giant grouper fish. The fish was very fresh, the soya sauce used were top premium well blended into the fresh meat of the fish. Service were slightly below the standard which should be take good note into. Price wise, a little on the high side, but for special occasion, and once a while, worth spending.
Serving authentic Vietnamese food here, where you will be able to find most of the famous Vietnamese dishes. The food are good here and best is they adapt best practice of not wasting food. The orders are based on your portion, so will not waste the food. Their fried rice paper spring rolls were tasty. The ambience of the restaurant were good, comfortable and suitable for family dining.
A famous local confectioner. This shop has been around for decades selling the famous biscuit heong peah, a crispy layered biscuit with molasses filling. They also make Kacang Tumbuk which is a sticky peanut cookie, Tau Sar Peah, chicken biscuits, sak kei mah and other pastries. Their kaya puff is also delicious, but best to consumed immediately. Usually very pack during weekend as many visitors will visit this place. Price very reasonable.
Famous with their traditional foochow dish, red wine mee sua. Run by family members, they serve authentic foodchow red wine mee sua. The mee sua is soft and tangy, nicely done. The red wine (ang jiu) nicely fermented with good quality of glutinous rice and red yeast rice. The chicken were well marinated with the ang jiu. Their red wine friend chicken is also delicious. Place is rustic giving you that old school feel.
