A very nice lobak, which provides fresh crispy bite. Unlike other stalls, offering ready sausages, fish balls and fish cakes, the stall owner makes his own lohak, prawn fritter, spring roll, steam octopus, braised pork knuckle and braised egg. Recommended to try out spring roll, it is kind of special than else where. The stall claims its origin from Kimberly Street since 70s, and has been passing down to second generation.

A very comfortable and spacious place to study and meet, especially since it's not crowded. The store offers snacks in addition to drinks. The drinks are average, but definitely a great place to work or spend your free time.

The store had almost no customers and we only had two tables when we arrived, including us. Didn't have expectations but the pork noodle taste surprised us. The soup was thick and slightly sour, which was appetising, but it will be too salty for someone like me. The place is very clean and comfortable with cool air conditioning. The price is a bit high, they give less meat but enough noodles.

The noodle is huge in portion. But unfortunately there is lack of soup provided, as we found no more soup left over when we reheated from our take away. The broth is less of seasoning and tastes kind of plain. Fish cutlets are fresh and tender. Generally, there are room of improvement on food quality.

The duck leg herbal soup is braised in each individual bowl. Yet the broth is full of herbal aroma. The duck leg is pretty huge in size and meatier. With such, it is rather reasonable with it priced RM7. This stall has been operating for a long period of times and had been collecting some good reputation. One of the comfort food to take.

The Keoy Teow Soup is standard-average, tastes not too bad but just will not get you addicted neither. Personally, I think the broth is lack of flavorsome, missing some aroma and robust taste that make it stands out. The bowl of noodle is comprising of pork minces and 3 fish balls. Slightly plain in general both from the presentation, it would be great if can touch with little spring onion, as well as from the food taste wise.

The Secret Garden provides an extensive menu, covering both Chinese and western dishes, range from expensive to daily cuisine. We tried their Hokkian fried noodle and western chops. The western foods are kind of disappointed us, while noodle is in average standard, nothing much to shout over. Despite of this, this restaurant and bar is well decorated inside out, providing quite lots of instagrammable shooting spots.

This is one of the biggest project of The Ideal developer in Penang, combining the concept of residency, commercial and leisure in one stop. Now phase one had done. The commercial shop lot that comprising at bottom and first level, however they are still mostly empty. One of the biggest and eye-catchy is Village Grocer, fully open at the moment. Outside of the compound is water front playground and bicycle lane, sea facing the Penang second bridge.
