Public beach camping, no campground charges, but you need to pay RM1/pax/entry for the toilet. First come first served basis, you can pitch your tent at the spot you like. Nice and clean beach, clean toilets, and food stall nearby. Weather is hot for beach camping, it's advisable to bring your portable fan along. Watch closely your belongings and it might get happening at night.

Kids had fun all day playing in the river water swimming pool. PIC is friendly, he showed us around. They have chalets for rent if you do not want to camp, relaxing place for retreat, suitable for family/friends gathering. The only dislike is the chickens will wake you up early in the morning.

We highly recommend their signature curry as it’s just the right amount of kick. This goes perfectly well with their crispy fried pork with curry gravy. You can also order their fried chicken, roasted pork, barbecue pork, pig skin, taufu pok as well as fu pei as additional sides.

Trust us, this is one of the best curry noodle places you can find in Malaysia!

Great campsite to chill with family and friends. As usual, cold weather in Janda Baik, remember to bring sleeping bag along. Due to raining season, the campground got muddy and the PIC let us camp at the hall (so nice of him). There is heater in the toilet and a small playground for the kids. Overall great experience.

Marvelous campsite with funtional toilets and common kitchen area. Beautiful and clean campsite, the PIC takes good care of the place. A very natural place (many leeches), clean river (so far the best river) but campground might not suitable for big tents. They are educational activities to sign up, good for kids.

We drove 7 hours from KL to Tasik Kenyir, there is breathtaking scenery along the journey. Clean campsite and not crowded (i think because of long hour journey), basic facilities and toilet is functioning well. Hot temperature even in the night, but plenty of trees that you sit under it and chill. The lake and the sky is so beautiful that you can spend hours sitting there and rest. Overall great and definitely will be back again.

Public campsite, there is a lot of people picnic at the surrounding during weekends. The cleanliness might not be satisfying, a lot of flies and clogged toilets. But spacious campground for kids to run around, and the kids enjoy the "big turtle". River is not clean. There is a Taman Ular nearby.

Clean campsite, good facilities, responsible caretaker. The river here is 5 star, crystal clear river. Might be difficult to drive all the way up to the campsite (offroad). 1 hour walk to Lata Hammer from the campsite. Warm weather at night, might not be comfortable to sleep. The only downside is no coverage (celcom still ok), you need to walk further away from the campsite to get the line.

Gated and guarded private campsite (spacious camping ground), clean, sprawling garden with several kampung style chalets for rent. Clean but slightly tiny toilet and open concept kitchen. Nice weather in Janda Baik, but a lot of mosquitoes in the evening. The PIC sometimes very difficult to deal with (she is not so friendly all the time). The campsite charges might be different, just need to double confirm with the PIC.

Found this Chinese seafood restaurant via local newspaper, make a trip to Kajang and it is really worth it. We tried a few signature dishes, which include the Shang Yu clayport rice, fried black pomfret, bitter grout and others; which is really nice. Just the no air-con, a bit hot during lunch. Crowded.

This is different from private campsite, it is all natural and deep in the forest. We enjoy our bbq night and jungle trekking (on your own) at night. you can see insectd/bugs that you don't usually find in city, eg: blue colour scorpion! The river is crystal clear, it's heaven to dip in the water in the afternoon. Overall environment is clean, there is workers come and clean the rubbish bin from time to time. Good experience for the city kids, thumbs up.

We spent 2d1n glamping here. It is suitable for those who like to camp but do not have camping stuff. You can just walk in with your suitcase and enjoy sleeping in tent and breathing fresh air. Beautiful place and scenery. There is simple food stall (malay style) nearby, river just beside the tents, clean toilets, etc.
